Project Manager of the Research Program “50 Leading Law Firms of Ukraine”

In view of the long-running economic crisis and sluggish reform of key state institutions, there can be no question of development in the legal market being rapid. System-related law firms, which managed to forward their lawyers into heavy workload practices, continue to hold leading positions. Individual niche players go on strengthening their positions in the practice of dispute resolution, taxation, criminal and legal protection of business. As far as the segment of the international law firms is concerned, the exit of brands from the Ukrainian market has been observed. But since their teams continue to work under new names, it is actually of little consequence for the market.

In general, an adjusted strategy and timely adoption of compensatory measures enable law firms to be quite optimistic when assessing their business prospects and expected growth once the situation in the country has finally been stabilized.
